The Consortium for Municipal Solid Waste Treatment of Maresme is invited to Malaga to speak about the future of municipal waste

The president of the Consortium, David Bote, and the manager, Carles Salesa, will both give presentations

The president of the Consortium for Municipal Solid Waste Treatment of Maresme, (CTRSU) and mayor of Mataró, David Bote, and the manager of CTRSU and consultant for the Catalan Federation of Municipalities, Carles Salesa, will attend the conference “The future of municipal waste in Malaga Province” on Wednesday 29th and Thursday 30th of March, organised by the Provincial Consortium of Solid and Municipal Waste of Malaga together with Malaga City Council. It will be a technical conference, the objective being to analyse the current waste management situation and examine different alternatives which will complete the waste management model in Malaga province. The conference is aimed at mayors, town councillors, and environmental technicians from the Malaga area.On Wednesday 29th March at 10.30am, the president of CTRSU, David Bote, will give the second presentation of the conference, which will concern municipal waste management. The following day, Thursday 30th March, also at 10.30am, the manager of CTRSU and consultant for the Catalan Federation of Municipalities, Carles Salesa will give his presentation on successful and unsuccessful cases in the application of technology in management models. The conference “The future of municipal waste in Malaga Province” will also host other experts and authorities in the field of waste management, such as the manager of the Catalan Waste Agency, Josep Mª Tost; the manager of Development, Agriculture and Environment at Almeria City Council, Antonio López Navarro; the president of the National Association of Public Environmental Companies, Pilar Vázquez; the general manager of the company Greene Waste to Energy, Juan José Hernández Samaniego; and the person responsible for waste projects at the company Idom, Juan Lekube Insausti.The conference will take place in the “Edgar Neville” auditorium at Malaga City Council.
