“Taste the new Recuwatt” will showcase the gastronomical strengths of the three regions

As part of the International Recuwatt Congress, under the supervision of José María Martín, chef at the Noucents restaurant in Mataró, and the catering company Sauleda in Sant Cebrià de Vallalta, a tasting of locally sourced gastronomic offerings from the regions of the Maresme and the Valleses will be served.

For this occasion, a special menu has been created under the name “Taste the new Recuwatt”, where seasonal products will be showcased and are the absolute priority. A union where fish, vegetables, meat, desserts, appetisers, wine and cava will play the leading role in the different meals.

There will be fish from Arenys, vegetables grown in Vallesos and the Maresme, strawberry black pudding made in the traditional delicatessen Can Martri in Sant Cebrià de Vallalta, Torres potatoes from Premià de Mar, olives from Espinaler, strawberries from the Maresme, ecological Parvus Syrah wine from Alella, white wine from Santa María de Martorelles (DO Alella), Parxet cava, belgas from Sabadell, and Melmelària jam from Tiana. There will also be traditional Pubilla cheese made by Murgó in Sant Iscle de Vallalta (a prize-winner at the Lactium fair 2016), and pastries from Sauleda Pasteleros. All produce will be from local companies, who take great pride in their traditional methods.

The aim is to showcase the Maresme and the Valleses through the palate, in a culinary fusion of the mountain and the sea, and you can be sure that everything has been carefully locally sourced from these areas.
