Reciclator 3000, by La Lió school, wins the prize for objects made from recycled material 2017

The winners receive a prize of 750 Euros to invest in school material

On Friday 27th October at the offices of the Maresme Consortium for Municipal Solid Waste Treatment, the prize for the 3rd annual competition of objects made from reused materials
was awarded. The competition, aimed at category A primary school children is organized by the Maresme Integral Centre for Waste Recovery, and the winner this year is the 5th primary school year 2016/2017 of La Lió school, in Premià de Mar.
The young artists created a robot made of recycled material, and gave it the evocative name “Reciclator 3000”. The headmistress of La Lió, Neus Ruiz, along with Xavier Navarro and Glòria Rojano, the teachers of the boys and girls who participated in this initiative, were present for the prize giving.

The prize for the annual competition of objects made from reused materials is the financing of school material chosen by the winning school up to a total of 750€. The president of the Consortium, David Bote, presented the ‘virtual cheque’ to the students.
