The President of the Consortium and Mayor of Mataró, is attending the International Seminar RELAGRES which is being held in Santiago de Chile until June 4th.

The International Seminar has opened this Thursday with the opening session presided by Chile’s Minister for the Environment, Pablo Badenier.
Immediately afterwards, the programme of conferences began, with representatives from different Latin American countries who explained their models of sustainable waste management and recovery.
Thematic meetings have also taken place today, in which the director of the Consortium, Carles Salesa participated in the session on the application of new technologies in waste management and recovery.
During the course of the day, David Bote had the chance to talk to Chile’s environmental Minister, with whom he exchanged knowledge and experience of the waste management model of the Consortium and that of Chile.
Tomorrow, Friday, David Bote will talk about the plan that we have formulated in the Maresme for waste management: where we have come from and where we want to go.
