The Maresme Ecological Fair took place on the 26th and
27th of May around Can Tarau, with talks, workshops,
tastings and recreational activities

The Maresme Consortium for Municipal Solid Waste Treatment was present last weekend, the 26 th and 27 th of May, at the 3 rd edition of Ecofair, the Maresme Ecological Fair, in Dosrius. Specifically, the Consortium was organising the workshop for children, Ludobrossa, which ran all over the weekend at Can Tarau, the venue for various talks, workshops, demonstrations, tastings and recreational activities for all ages, with the environment and locally- sourced produce taking centre stage.

Ecofira 2018 opened its doors on Saturday the 26 th May at 10.30am. Throughout the two days more than 40 exhibitors from different fields such as food, recycling, health, renewable energies, biomass, sustainable tourism, environmentally-friendly driving, and ecological agriculture offered visitors multiple proposals and activities. Meanwhile, the Ecofair’s auditorium tent also hosted various presentations, demonstrations and educational workshops for everyone. The objective was to encourage sustainable consumption, and promote local products and ecological services, as well as encourage respect for the environment.
