Carles Salesa has explained the comprehensive management model of the waste treatment that is carried out at the Mataró plant

On Tuesday 29th November, a delegation of different municipalities from Kuwait visited the Consortium plant to see the comprehensive management model of the treatment and recovery of waste that is followed in the Maresme.
The manager of the Consortium, Carles Salesa, explained the plant’s infrastructure and the complete treatment process.
One of the things that most interested the delegation was the model of public procurement to be able to build a plant of this type in Kuwait, given that this delegation is being assessed by the World Bank for a good practice project of public procurement to finance new infrastructure. Kuwait is one of the Middle Eastern countries that is beginning to invest in improving waste treatment.
