The Plan, drawn up in 2022, aims to reduce waste generation in the county by <strong>26.4%<\/strong> by 2027, compared to 2010.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>35kg of food wasted<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In Catalonia, each person wastes <strong>35kg of food<\/strong> in good condition per year. 58% of this is wasted in households. On an environmental level, the impact of unused food waste which ends up in waste circuits, is not only a waste of natural resources and energy but also has a major environmental impact in terms of carbon emissions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Making recipes for reuse is one of the many things we can do to avoid waste<\/strong>.
